Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. All are welcome to participate in this 12-Step program. AA meets on Saturday evenings at 6:00 pm in the Dede Center.

Catholic Adult Fellowship

This ministry is for Catholics who are growing in their faith through prayer, faith-enrichment programs, service and fellowship. They are single and married Catholics of all ages. Visit www.catholicadultfellowship.org/th to learn more. They meet on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm in the St. Patrick Rectory. The purpose of this group is to grow in love and knowledge of the Catholic faith.

Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities provides a variety of assistance and programs to those in need in the Terre Haute area. This group is a member agency of the United Way of the Wabash Valley.

Catholic Radio Station WHOJ-FM 91.9

This ministry broadcasts Catholic evangelistic programs, including four daily call-in talk shows so listeners can ask questions and get straight answers about the faith. This effort helps spread the Catholic faith, explain Catholic doctrine, helps converts on their way to becoming Catholics and attracts possible converts. The station is owned by Covenant Networks in St. Louis and broadcasts within a 15 mile radius of Terre Haute.

Knights of Columbus

Knights of Columbus are a Catholic, family, fraternal, service organization. Our ministry conducts activities that support Family, Community, Pro-Life, Youth, Church and our Council. Local activities include Fish fries, Youth free throw contests at Ryves Youth Center and Gibault, Special Olympics, Thanksgiving food basket collection, St. Patrick Day parade, Christmas party, fundraising for local Catholic Churches, and many more. Membership is open to Catholic men age 18 or older in good standing with the Church. Meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Mondays at 7:30 pm and annual dues are $40.

THREDD, Terre Haute Religious Education for the Developmentally Disabled

This ministry provides religious education for the developmentally disabled. There are currently seven individuals who volunteer two hours per month as teachers, and work closely with the DRE of each parish. The 13 parishes in the deanery provide financial support. This year the ministry has the goal of improving publicity so those in need will benefit.
